How Discovery Works
MAGnet is not one single feed and it is not a black box. S.V.E.R discovery comes from a mix of transparent recommendations, automatic spotlights, live routing, and the communities creators build around themselves.
The Discovery Stack
Recommendations Feed
PersonalizedYour homepage and discover feeds blend follows, faction alignment, Visibility Boost boosts, current popularity, and the categories you actually watch.
Automatic Spotlights
SystemMAGnet automatically spotlights first-time streamers and returning creators, while admins can still create editorial features for special cases.
MAGNet Live Routing
LiveWhen the engine is enabled, MAGnet can route viewers to the strongest live moment on the platform using chat, follows, watch activity, votes, momentum, and detector evidence.
Faction & Community Pull
OrganicFollowers, faction communities, raids, and shared territory incentives still matter. MAGnet is a support system, not a replacement for real community building.
Signals MAGnet Uses
- Follow relationships and your existing community still carry the most weight.
- Recent watch history helps the recommendation feed understand which categories you actually care about.
- Faction alignment can boost discovery when viewers and creators are part of the same movement.
- Live momentum matters: chat velocity, viewer movement, votes, follows, and other moment signals can all affect MAGnet routing.
- Consistency helps, but S.V.E.R is not supposed to bury creators for taking time away.
- Admins can still add editorial support when a creator deserves visibility that automation might miss.
What Helps
- ●Stream on a real schedule so your existing audience can build habits around your channel.
- ●Use accurate titles, categories, and tags so the system can place you in the right lanes.
- ●Build genuine chat and viewer participation instead of chasing hollow spikes.
- ●Join and contribute to your faction if you want the extra discovery path that faction systems provide.
- ●Flag standout moments when something special is about to happen; it gives MAGnet stronger evidence.
- ●Opt out of MAGnet if you do not want automatic routing or spotlight participation.
What Does Not Help
- ●Viewbotting, fake engagement, or self-amplification schemes. MAGnet is designed to reward real audience response.
- ●Misleading categories or titles. Bad metadata makes your stream harder to place correctly.
- ●Expecting one signal to do all the work. Strong discovery usually comes from community, consistency, and real moments reinforcing each other.
- ●Treating editorial support as pay-to-play. Spotlighting is governed and reversible, not an ad slot.
Common Questions
Is S.V.E.R “community, not algorithms”?
Not literally. S.V.E.R does use algorithms. The difference is that MAGnet is meant to be transparent, explainable, and paired with community systems and editorial support instead of hidden black-box ranking.
Does MAGnet only help big streamers?
No. Automatic spotlights, category affinity, faction support, and MAGNet fairness controls are all meant to give smaller creators legitimate ways to be seen.
Can I see whether MAGnet is helping me?
Yes. Your dashboard can show MAGnet feature history, lane wins, clips, and live-status details when your stream is being featured.
Can I control whether MAGnet features me?
Yes. Streamers can opt out of MAGnet routing and the automatic spotlight system from their MAGnet settings.
Build the Kind of Stream MAGnet Wants to Find
The goal is not to game a mystery box. It is to build a stream people genuinely care about, then let transparent discovery systems help the right viewers find it faster.
